I dropped my diamond wedding band in the sink & tried to scope it out & accidentally slid it into the overflow drain of my bathroom sink. I took the trap off but it wasn't there. How can I get it out? Thanks!

Leave the trap off, put a bucket under it and pour some water in the overflow. Or if you have a shop vac use it to bow air into the overflow and the ring should drop into the bucket.

Stick a wad of paper towels into the house drain so It can't fly or bounce into it.

Unlikely that the ring will pass through the internal piping between the overflow hole and the drain. I would try a shop vacuum on the overflow hole. If that didn't work I would remove the sink from the wall or the cabinet. Remove the drain assembly, then turn it on its side or upside down and flush from the drain back toward the overflow hole.

Yeah, unless the pop-up assembly lined up perfectly when it was installed, my guess is that you'll need to remove the pop-up assembly to get that ring back. Post back if you need help with this, OK?
