I have an oil painting with the signature of Hurst on it. Does anyone know where I could find more information about the artist and/or painting? Thank you.

That is all I have been able to find also. Same signature but, no first name or other information. I have a large sofa size painting of a broken down cabin in the woods. Belonged to my grandmother. I have no idea how long she owned it, I just remember it always being in her house a kid (so, around 40 years ago). I was just hoping to find a little information about the artist.
