I have 3 harbor breeze fans model # LP8293 (FN569DWDC), with each having its own remote control unit. 2 of them suddenly stopped contolling the fan speed and the light. There are only 2 settings on the remotes: "0"and "1" and a "learn button"; there are no other dip switches on the remotes or on the fan units themselves.
I have tried changing the selections from 1 to 0 and back again, held the learn button for several seconds, have held the light switch for 6 seconds, all with no effect. All electrical breakers are OK. The red light illuminates on the remote when a fan speed is pressed, but no sound and no change of fan speed.


Any ideas?
