The concrete 7'x7' concrete slab slopes and has waves in it. How can I fix this so I can put my hot tub on it?

Build a platform to compensate for the unleveled concrete foundation for the hot tub. It could be concrete or whatever material you like.

If I used concrete how thick would it have to be and how would I do this? Sorry but I am a newbe at this.

I do t think concrete over concrete works because of the curing time. The new concrete won't cure. But a hardwood platform may work, like mahogany. You didn't use a level? Wait for more qualified suggestions from our experts.

This seems to be the easiest solution,
EZ PAD® - Hot Tub Spa Pad, Hot Tub Installation Base, #1 Brand (http://ezpads.com/)

And there is this,
How to Pour a Leveling Layer of Concrete Over the Existing Uneven Old Concrete Floor | eHow (http://www.ehow.com/how_8026230_pour-uneven-old-concrete-floor.html)
Leveling/repairing concrete slabs is done all the time. Preparing the old slab is the key.
I think this is what Tickle is alluding too.
The Disadvantages of Pouring Concrete Over Existing Concrete Slab | eHow (http://www.ehow.com/info_12056002_disadvantages-pouring-concrete-over-existing-concrete-slab.html)
However you have so many options it comes down to your own personal taste and pocket book.
Others are bound to come along with their own ideas.

We did use a level, however were sloping for the grade away from house.

What about building a form around and level at top and pour pea gravel on top of concrete? Do you think this would work?
