Changing blower motor in sears furnace model 867. Old motor only six wires. 4 to fan speed control and two to run capacitor. New motor as seven, white common wire extra. Is it needed or capacitor acts as common?

What is the model number of the motor?
Is there a wiring diagram on the motor?
I pulled up the following motor, Emerson model number 5460,
Sears Part #: 611798.
It shows 7 wires.
White is neutral.
Black, blue, red, and yellow are speed selections.
Purple and orange are rotation directions. (Reversing these will change the direction of rotation.
Browns are the capacitor wires. They go to the capacitor. Doesn't matter which brown wire connects to which capacitor terminal.
