My bladder type well tank keeps filling with too much air. 50-60lbs. causing short cycling. I have a 30/50 pressure switch. When I bleed out the air to 28 lbs. Everything works fine. But it will start short cycling again the next day. Also, when shut off, no water will drain from tank. Thanks for any help.

You have a leaking bladder.
Apparently when under maximum pressure water is passing from the bladder to the tank. When under reduced pressure the water cannot pass back from the tank to the bladder. Therefore, the air pressure keeps increasing. Note that the water is pumped into the bladder and the air is between the tank and the bladder.
Also, when shut off, no water will drain from tank.
If that means that there is no pressure when you open the drain valve that means that there is no, or almost no air in the tank and all the space is taken up by water.
Also, when shut off, no water will drain from tank.
If that means that you do not get water out the Schroeder valve when testing for a ruptured bladder, you have to have the pump running to provide pressure and you have to let all the air out to see if you get water
Most important is to remember you cannot compress water.

Is this a galvanized tank, or is it a painted tank (blue or grey, most likely)?
If it's galvanized, then it has no bladder. Possibly not the case, but you seem to be saying that you have to regularly let air out of the tank.

As said above, the short cycling is generally a waterlogged bladder tank, but your statement about bleeding air out just caught my attention some.
