Ok so 2 weeks ago I had unprotected sex, a few days later I noticed I had UTI symptoms - I am prone to getting UTI's after sex, So a week later I got antibiotics. These did not clear up the symptoms. My urinalysis came back negative for infection. The Dr then prescribed me more antibiotics, but these are not working either. Has anyone any idea what else it could be? Could it still be a UTI or could it be an STD? I have really bad burning pain when urinating and there is blood in my urine. I do not have a constant urge to need to pee.

This is not entirely true. Visible blood in urine is cause for concern definitely. It appears to be the symptoms of UTI, from your description, and if the proper antibiotics were prescribed (only two work for me in this case) and you have been taking them consistently, omitting any alcoholic beverages during that time, the antibiotics should have done their job.

Visible blood in urine is caused by a few things, an ongoing UTI, strenuous excer size, kidney stones to name a few.

Proper diagnosis CANNOT be determined on the Internet. I suggest you get a second opinion from another doctor. If you are seeing blood in your urine, it is beyond just concern now.
