I have an older Nordyne electric furnace air conditioner I've changed the furnace blower. The thermostat wires inside the furnace housing have a small plug-in to plug into the transformer box, I think it is a transformer box. The plug-in wires has three wires coming out of the plug-in, Gray, off white or white, and red, but strangely behind the plug-in and coming out of the plug-in there is an orange wire by itself not attached to the three wires in the plug-in, than there are the thermostat wires green, yellow, blue, white, and red which are supposed to connect somehow to these three or four wires that is including the orange. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the wiring when I took out the blower, I noticed also that the plug-in for the motor also going to the transformer box right next to the thermostat plug-in, also has an identical orange wire coming out of it as well, and I remember when I disconnected the wires to the motor plug-in it seemed as though there were a couple thermostat wires wired to the motor wires, perhaps the fan part of the motor, at least a couple which I thought was odd. I was wondering if anyone could help me in explaining to me anything about all these wires especially the two strange orange wires. Thanks
