Its all about economics

Greece = bad.

Are taxes low so people feel free to spend money?

Is Government small meaning we don't have a lot of Government entities which produce nothing.

Is unemployment low for the right reasons?

And most importantly is the economy changing as the times change? This means just because something was a good idea 200 years ago doesn't make it a good idea now.
