Need to replace the gas burner assembly part #499542 on my Margas Custom 36 Direct Vent Fireplace. Where can I find the part?

Don't find much about the Margas units and have never heard of them here. Where are you located?

Nothing in Atlanta. Looks like this is the same as MARCO. They have been recalled and are out of business apparently.

CPSC, Marco Alert Consumers to Gas Fireplace Recall Due to Fire Hazard | CPSC.gov (http://www.cpsc.gov/en/Recalls/1999/CPSC-Marco-Alert-Consumers-to-Gas-Fireplace-Recall-Due-to-Fire-Hazard/)

Marco already has repaired about 9,000 fireplace vent systems since July 1998. All other owners need to stop using these recalled fireplaces immediately. Marco will arrange for free repair of recalled fireplaces. For additional information, assistance in determining if you have a recalled fireplace or to arrange for a free repair, consumers should call Lennox, which bought Marco, at (888) 420-6272.

Have your model and serial numbers ready.
