We just had a Mazon ceiling fan with remote installed in our kitchen. It worked fine for about a week, and then after a power outage, it stopped working. Any ideas on how to reset? I've now seen many complaints about these types of fans and am worried I may have to call an electrician to fix or have it removed. Please help.

We don't know how your kitchen is wired but here are some suggestions. Make sure there are no tripped breakers or blown fuses. Look for a tripped GFCI outlet in the kitchen. Remote? Check batteries.
