Can I move in with someone that put a trailer on heir property. In tangipahoa,la our cousin put a trailer on the land next door to the family home where a uncle stay ,property undivided ,no succession . Can he stop me from moving in with him. Before someone say I am trepassing heir property he did not get anyone to sign for a spot ,he just got a spot. Property is homestead exempt in grandfather name

edpent, your posts should all be combined, going back over a year. An administrator will do that. Not only are you in the state of LA, the most unusual of all 50 states regarding inheritance, but you also have a very complicated family tree.

Meanwhile, no, you cannot move into your cousin's trailer! You might be able to put your own trailer next to his, you might not. You might be able to argue in court that the trailer can't be there.
But nowhere on the planet do you get to just move in to an abode clearly owned by someone else.

I agree with Joy on both points. You really need a local attorney to unravel this. But no, you don't get to move into someone's abode without their permission.

I'm not sure I'm following the situation here.

This implies a separate plot.

What property? Who legally owns the property at this time?

It sounds like the cousin just plopped the trailer down without permission ( how did he hook up utilities? ), in which, case the owner of the property (or executor of the estate) would handle the issue.
