We purchased a home with a Lennox HS32 030-2p unit and need to replace the C-12 dual capacitor. We had it serviced about 1month ago and the serviceman said that he did not have this model and probably couldn't get it. He put another kind in but the unit is not functioning correctly. I researched online and believe it is available but I need a # from the capacitor, the serviceman took it with him so I don't know how to get the correct part #. I read it is a C-12 dual capacitor but there is another # that must be accurate I must have to order the part, no paperwork was left for the unit.
I would appreciate any advice,
Thank you,
Sal

See page 5.

Page 5 specifies a G-dual capacitor. That doesn't tell you much. Page 5 also specifies that the capacitor may be different for different motors.

What you need to know is the MFD of the fan and compressor motors. This may be listed on the name plates of the fan and compressor.

unit is not functioning correctly.

What does that mean? If the compressor and fan start and run then you must have the correct capacitor.

Call Lennox.

Call Tribles Appliance parts. They may be able to tell you the correct capacitor. They would also be the cheapest place to buy.
