On Sunday night I went out with this beautiful girl I've recently started talking to and it was our first official date. We went out to eat, had great conversation, serious eye contact and we walked around the small city shops and she put her arm in mine, held my hands at the table after we ate and waited for our check and gave me a long hug and a kiss on the cheek goodnight. I didn't intiate any of the contact- it was all her. She told me I was very good looking, complimented me in a lot of ways and told me she thought I was a really nice guy and told me to call her and we'd make plans for the weekend.

SO...

I texted her today while I was at work (I figured 2 days after the date is good to contact) and sent her something quick, and asked her if she'd want to go for some tapas and salsa dancing this weekend in my message. It was short, funny, and to the point.

I don't like playing games, and I like this girl, so I figured what the hell right? So what if it's Tuesday? If I want to go out with her again, just ask? Right?

Well, it's 10pm now and no text back and now I'm starting to worry because that's what I seem to do best.

There's no doubt she likes me but why hasn't she texted back?

If she doesn't contact me by Thursday should I give her a call? Maybe leave her a message/talk to her and say something like, "Hey dunno if you got my text but I just wanted to say hi and see if you'd like to go out again this weekend?"

Please give me advice!

My opinion is that you should call her. It's much more personal than all of the electronic ways of teskting or emailing. She did say for you to call her. Right?
