Hi. This is my situation.
My last period was May 4, but then I had unprotected sex on May 26. I don't want to get pregnant so I tried searching for an emergency pill and found nordette. On May 29th I drank 4 pills of Nordette in 3pm and 4pills again on 4am ( I was an hour late). From then on I started taking the pill once a day at 10am suggested by a friend nurse, up to now I still don't havr my period. Is it possible that I am pregnant? Please reply. Thanks

The pill can have an effect on your cycle. Why was sex unprotected, if you did not want to get pregnant? The pills taken after, are not 100 percent effective and depending on when you took first dose, it gets less effective the longer after.

With that said, one of the side effect can be to alter, delay or cancel the first one or two periods. So there is no way to tell, without testing when you are about 2 week late.

If you are sexually active, you need to use proper birth control methods

Any time there is penile insertion there is the risk of pregnancy. You can reduce the risk, but not eliminate it. So yes you could be pregnant. Nordette prevents ovulation, If your last period was May 4, then it is likely that you had already ovulated by 5/26. Nordette does not appear to be an emergency pill and it also appears to be a prescription medication, not available over the counter. So how did you get it without a doctor's prescription and therefore discussing its proper use with a doctor?

As noted, it could delay your period or you could be pregnant and taking Nordette could affect the fetus. You NEED to consult a physician immediately.
