Get a voice teacher or coach. Also, sing in school choruses and musical productions, the church choir. Learn to play the piano so you know about music, the names of notes and types of chords.

This would be next to impossible to give. You need feedback from a professional.

Some people no matter WHO they have teaching, or how hard they try... will sound like a donkey . And most others fit somewhere between that and the truly talented.

And the professional feedback might be hands over ears.

Do lot of breathing exercise first. Then take one song whatever you can sing. First you try to sing in the way that artist is singing. Then forget about it, then try singing in your own way, which means the way your voice and vocal cord is comfortable with. That is known as identifying your vocal range. Once you know your range, do lot of exercise enhancing your voice and range. After that when you feel comfortable with your singing. Go and look for more tips on Google and Youtube. :)

Almost all professionals have voice coaches. My exwife used to train many off broadway performers for voice. If you start wrong, you can do more damage than good.
So get a voice coach is you want to sing really well
