I remember it was a live action movie with a kid who could see this purple monster that was a puppet. He had these huge bushy eyebrows and wore pretty "fashionable" 80's/90's clothes. I remember a scene were he pops out from around the corner at the kid. I also remember his name being Moochie or something like that.
