Assalam alaikum. My name is Nilofar.I'm aged 17.I've written my 12th exam and waiting for the result.I'm a biology student. But to choose biology after 10th wasn't my decision,it was my father's.He wants me to become a doctor. But I'm not interested in it.He says that this is the only field where one can completely follow islam. Is that true?I'm quite interested in charted accountant studies. Is that a good choice for an islamic girl who would like to follow Quran and sunnah?

How are your grades in biology? In math? Doctors are highly valued and in demand everywhere, but the world of finances is highly rewarding also. For now keep your options open, until YOU have had time to gather facts to go along with your feelings.
There are few careers in which you cannot practice your faith. Your biggest obstacles is with your father it seems, and his mind is made up, while yours really is not. I take it he is the means of support for you, so my question is what happens if you pursue a path that is different from the one he wishes for you?
Very simply, will he support YOUR choice of a career?
