My name is mehraj, I have the experience in call centre, I am looking for a job and now I am getting a job in call centre which is realted to debt collections, I would just like to know if doing this job is legal as per islam, let me explain the nature of job:
It is indian callcentre do the work for us based companies,
Us based companies outsource their business to indian callcentre's,
So it is the us based bank who has outsourced its business to this call centre and it is the collection of debt's of credit cards, we will have to call the cust's who has not paid their credit cards back, so I will have to call the people who were the card holders of that usa bank and are defaulters now, I will be asking them to pay their bills for their credit cards. And I will not be on the pay roll of that bank since they have outsourced their business ot indian call centre and the bank pays our company directly and I will be on the pay roll of this indian call centre, so will this salary be legal for me, please let me know,
I really want to join this job if I come to know it is legal.

You will be asking for payment of interest and also at times discussing and making deals about those payments. I can not see how this would be allowed. You can of course discuss it with your local religious leader.

I would also advise consulting with your local religious leader.
