Good Day, if anyone can help me. I met a woman from Ghana on the net and for assuring myself about her, I asked her to send me her identity card and passport. How can I make sure that tose documents are real and not false??

They very likely aren't real. Ghana is a hotbed of romance scams. Even the Embassy website has warnings on it. Romance Scams | Embassy of the United States Accra, Ghana (http://ghana.usembassy.gov/romance_scam.html) As soon as she asks for money, you'll know for sure. And please DO NOT send any!

This part of your post tells it all:

That has classic scam written all over it. Even if you were able to ascertain the genuine nature of the documents, the probability that "she" is trying to scam you is something like the probability that the sun will rise tomorrow.

How could you verify if ID's are real or fake if she was local? See the problem you have meeting girls on the net? Let alone so far away, or from one of the most notorious scam laden places in the world.

How do you know it is even a woman? Sorry, but this is a scam!

The easiest and most simple way to evaluate if she is real:

1) Did she contact you first? If "yes", not a good sign.

2) Did she proclaim her love for you in a relatively short amount of time? If "yes", not a good sign.

3) Has she hinted at or asked for any money...especially money for passports and such to come see you? If "yes", not a good sign.

You've never "met her". Meeting someone involves a face to face meeting in person. Being Ghana is involved... the chances of her being real and what she claims are lower than getting hit by a meteor while taking a shower.

First some of the scams use real people, with real ID papers. But to be honest most of these email scams are large companies that can make a ID, fake passports that would fool even immigration until they did not show up in the computer system. Or have the imbedded chip. The ability to "photo-shop" Id's are so good, you will never ever know, real from fake.

Guess what 99.99 percent of all emails from these places are scams, they are good, they have prepared scripts that are written to answer almost anything you ask.

The larger places have 10 or more employees working 3 shifts a day, 24 hours a day. So the person you talk to today (emails) may not even be the same person you chat with tomorrow, they just read your "file" and know how to reply.

If you get around to a phone call, they have people hired for that. It may be a 60 year old grandma with a sexy voice, or young girls hired just for that.

Beyond that, if it gets around to a video chat ( they always seem to have reasons not to video chat) But with Skype, QQ, Wechat and other programs, video chat is free.
But if and when they video, often the girl looks different, but they have a story for that, they were scared so they used their roommate or friends photo.

It is OK, since the girl on video will always be beautiful and young.

The scam works like this, they want money for a passport, (they always ask for too much) and then money for a visa.
Then they want money for a physcial exam (not needed)
Then they will want money for a "travel allowance" that you will get back as soon as they arrive. But there is no travel allowance any longer.
