I was taking my son to primary school and befriended a woman and her daughter, who take the children there. Everything was not bad until one day she suggested an old man of 80 years old wants two woman to play with him for money and she thought to tell me to be the other woman with her. Sorry for my vulgarity but it's just to describe how she said it. I was absolutely shocked at this and didn't talk to her or her daughter anymore, so she started to threaten me and I was very worried she will bash me up at school and belittle me. So I started to talk to them again with fear, in hope to avoid a war, but now I don't want to hang around with them anymore.

How can I avoid them? I see the mother low class to have suggested this to me and I really don't want to call her my friend. What shall I do? Shall I tell her daughter since she told me to keep it a secret? Her daughter is 22.

I think you keep this to yourself, but be polite when you encounter her, as you would any one. Why overreact just because your sensibilities were shocked. Let it go and get about your life, and chalk it up to meeting a crazy person. Many more where she came from.

Just say hi, and keep going about your business. You don't have to fear them, or call them a friend, nor do you have to run from them either. You only encounter this woman in passing, so it's limited. Keep it that way.

How has she threatened you?

She told me to leave other women's men alone because I wasn't talking to her and if I mention her name In the coffee shop she'll bash me up

Yep, she sounds crazy to me. Do you have other friends at this coffee shop? Is it a meeting place for parents? Is this where the women gather to gossip? Does she have any other friends at this coffee shop?

She sounds paranoid that you will share her "secret".

Sounds like she's just afraid that you will tell others.
Look right in her eyes and say 'LOOK, I don't want to be your friend, but I'm absolutely not going to tell anyone what you asked.'
Then turn around and walk away, immediately.

Where in the heckies do you live where saying "no" to a ménage à trois gets you threatened on the way to drop off your little ones at school? (You don't have to tell me where you live. I am just verbalizing the situation to myself to see if I can understand it.)

I agree with Joy. End it abruptly and if it doesn't end carry pepper spray to brighten her day.

I have a general rule in life that I either taught or am teaching all of my boys. Be a very good judge of character and choose your friends wisely.

I bet there wasn't even an 80 year old dude.

What you do is put your big girl panties on, stop playing games, and just leave the woman alone. Sheesh.

What would you advise your own daughter in the same circumstance? Suck up and pretend to be friends- it's okay to be dishonest and not have the skills necessary to end a relationship?

You cannot judge HER behavior, decisions or actions, you can only judge your own.

Thanks all you really helped me in this situation, I will do my best when I see her to speak to her generally and leave as these people are prone to bash us up for no reason because they are tough people...
