Since last 3 weeks I have been having problem with my furnace(model number : KG6RA-045C-08A).

I had three HVAC repair person have a look, and here are what they did

1. Replaced Ignitor and Flame sensor(after this repair furnace ran for one week)
2. Replaced pipe between Inducer and Pressure switch and suggested that if it fails again I have to replace pressure switch(furnace stopped working after 2 days)
3. Suggested to replace Pressure switch, Inducer and Control Board(with a hefty price tag : $1330). And didn't give clear answer as to why I should replace all three parts.

So I decided to try to solve the problem myself.

I see 2 blinks(pressure switch open with inducer on)After reading post (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/heating-air-conditioning/pressure-switch-open-inducer-290817.html), I "Turned off furnace, removed one wire from pressure switch, started furnace, put back the wire", and furnace started. I am pretty sure it will shut down again. If I touch the inducer on side it feels hot.

Can any one point me if I really should replace these parts and is there a way to confirm that these parts need replacement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why haven't you replaced the pressure switch? That is a cheap part. Why replace the igniter and flame sensor? First thing is to test the pressure switch. Remove the tube from the inducer and see if in blowing into the pressure switch you hear a click. Use a VOM to check continuity. Make sure there isn't dirt in the inducer port. The inducer would probably get hot when running but, have you oiled the inducer motor, it could just be turning too slowly. Don't just start replacing parts.

Thanks for the reply ma0641 (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/members/ma0641.html).

It was the repair person who I called replaced the ignitor and sensor, and also wanted to replace other parts.

As per your suggestion I did not hear any click sound after blowing in the pressure switch, also continuity check passed.

Now furnace works after I jump start only, and does not ignite after restart.
