I installed a kohler mistos K-R72508-CP. I noticed the cold water comes out when the lever is facing forward then when pushed to the right is comes out hot. It moves 90 degrees to the right. It does not move to the left. Is this right?

The entire body of the faucet ( column ) is misaligned. Three things might have happened:

1. When positioning body of the faucet on top of the 8" plate during installation - make sure the faucet column with LOGO is facing you square on. Sometimes there is a small notch in the plate and small peg in the faucet column that snap together. Tighten faucet by hand from underneath, get up and make necessary adjustments to the position of the faucet. Make sure handle moves same distance to the left and same distance to the right. Then tighten up firmly from under neath

2. Sometimes happens that cartridge inside the faucet has moved and is not sitting in its position the way it should. Here, you have to remove handle, trim and reset cartridge. There is a small chance this is happening - but want to mention it as it happened to me several times before.

3. Lastly, the faucet has front and back. Make sure it is installed with LOGO facing you and in the middle of sink.

Lastly, make sure hot water is connected to Hot water supply and cold water is connected to Cold water supply. Usually, there is a Red and Blue sticker supply lines of the faucet, indicating Hot and Cold. If you switch the connections, you will get hot water from the right side and cold water when you move handle to the left.

Hope that helps
