I met this guy who told me that he was looking for companionship and see if it goes anywhere can you tell me what does that mean? Are they really any difference between companionship and relationship? Thanks

You haven't told us much to go on. This could really mean anything from that he's looking for someone for casual sex to maybe he is looking for someone to be in a relationship with. Maybe...just maybe...you should actually ask him what he means and what he is looking for.

It doesn't mean anything until you talk and get his meaning. It might be a slick rap for easy no strings attached sex for all we know. How long have you known him? Obviously not long enough to understand him.
