My wife was 135kg when she got pregnant. While weight does have affect your fertility, it is usually at the higher levels that it becomes a real issue. Chances are your periods are just irregular and the drugs you were given are just to try to even things out and encourage your body to ovulate. That being said it is impossible to say when you're going to ovulate. Even though the common wisdom is that a woman is most likely going to ovulate 2 weeks after the start of her period, it is not a certainty. You could ovulate during your period, just after it ends, or even in the end cycle.
The best advice if you're trying to get pregnant is to make sure you're taking the medicine your doctor prescribed and have sex every 2-3 days. As bad as this sounds this will keep your reproductive system with good access to sperm so if you ovulate there is a higher chance of fertilization without depress your partners sperm production. Good luck and have fun with it!

The best position is one where the penis ejaculates into the vagina. Everything else is left for you two to work out.
You could be, you could become, or you could be not and not become. That's the thing, you just need to keep trying. The actual fertilization takes a series of well timed events to occur. Healthy and perfectly fertile couples could take months or even years to conceive and it be nothing but bad timing. It is going to take a while but you have a physician monitoring your progress so it seems like you're in really good hands already.

Reasonably. She had just given birth about year or so ago and was back on birth control for a good part of that, she went off about a month or two prior and was a little irregular.
The problem with irregular is that it could cause ovulation problems. The fact that I am trying to give you is that weight is probably not that big of an issue here. You're being monitored by a physician, he is the best one to be answering question. I have a lot of basic knowledge and empirical experience, but your doctor has years of medical training.
