Hi. From Chennai. For the past 3 years I am trying to get conceive. We had unprotected sex on 20 January and my expected period date is on 13th Feb. We had sex in middle some days, but what happened is I got a breast tenderness , tiredness and a slight brown spotting 10 days before. And finally we had sex on 9TH FEB. 11th, I got some slight pink spotting in the morning and today it got little heavy like watery blood so that I have kept napkin.

I will always get periods on time or after 3 to days of menstruation date. But this case is very weird because I never got my periods before the menstruation date. I'm feeling little cramps and feeling so tired sleepy all day. Still my breast size is full. I'm so worried. Can anyone guess what's happening with me? :(

My age is 22, menstruation cycle will be irregular but for the past some months its on date, but this time its came 2 days before my menstruation date. In my whole life it never came too early. I have not took any home pregnancy test still now. Help me!! I'm so confused and scared. :(

I wouldn't worry about a period being a few days early (or late for that matter), but if you are trying to get pregnant for 3 years, and have never tested at home, do you have a personal doctor you consult with regularly? What's with the implantation you referred to in your title?

I am a guy but the variety of changes a females goes through with her menstrual cycle is MIND BOGGLING to say the least. I never worried much until she MISSED her period.

Be patient and relax as I am sure one of the knowledgeable experienced females can shed some light on all this for you.

As talaniman said, periods can be off a bit now and then, so a few days early or late is not really cause for concern. It may be your period is just getting started and will become more like a regular period.

Implantation spotting or bleeding does often happen shortly before a period is due. Most women never see implantation bleeding, but it happens enough that some women do experience it. It is sometimes mistaken for an off period, but most often is just some light spotting for a day or two. There can be some light bleeding in early pregnancy as well that is not associated with implantation. It can be due to increased hormone levels and blood volume, and the early changes in preparation for and of the development of the placenta.

See what happens over the next several days. There is no reason to automatically think miscarriage from some light bleeding/cramping. Chances are it is your period, but being unusually tired can be an early pregnancy experience. See if it continues.

If you don't have a regular period after about a week, try a pregnancy test or see your doctor for one. I'd see your doctor anyway since as was said, trying to become pregnant for 3 years without success should be checked. This would be wise for both you and your partner.
