Tried to jump it off but didn't work. Lights and radio still come on so battery is fine. Had a new starter put in today but still doesn't start. It won't crank. It's not a temp. or stalling issue. Starter switch fuse is OK. Any ideas?

Remove and fully charge the battery, clean the battery terminals and cable connections, and clean the battery ground (where it attaches to the frame). Examine the cables for hidden corrosion and breaks. Clean the connections going to the starter motor. Starter motors require lots of amperage, whereas the lights and radio require very little. Most auto parts stores will test and charge batteries for free.

Perform an ignition by-pass test, where you connect a 12 AWG wire, or remote starter switch, from the positive battery cable to the "S" terminal on the starter motor solenoid. If the starter motor cranks, the problem is with the ignition switch, neutral safety switch, or wiring. If the starter motor doesn't crank, replace the starter motor.
