I'm 24 years old, and I've NEVER even been late for a period much less missed one. I take the pill so my periods are like clock work, I know exactly what day and pretty much what time I will start. As of today I am two days late. I'm supposed to start my new pack in two days but I know that I'm not supposed to take my pills if I think that I could possibly be pregnant. My question is should I take a home pregnancy test and if I do how much can I rely on it if it is positive?

You can rely that if it is positive then you're pregnant. But they're most accurate when you're two weeks late so you'll have to wait a little. A side note, Most women have regular periods until they're not. Which is to say that occasionally you can have wonky periods with little to no explanation. Is there anything special that has happened in the last month that could cause you to be late? Stress? Illnesses that required antibiotics?
