Hello,

I just recently took a hair drug test on Jan. 20, 2015 and since I shave my head hair along with my armpits the collection site took the hair from my legs. My question is that I took 2 pills of ecstasy on Oct 2013 and I tested myself on Feb 2014 at a drug screen place that used Quest Diagnostics for their lab and my results were negative. In May 2014, I don't remember if I took any molly since I was impaired because I was drunk. In my heart I believe I was just drunk and passed out. I pretty much blacked out and slept there. I am now questioning myself since I cant remember if I did anything and I have not done anything after that as this is a great job and I stayed away from all of that now. Psychemedics is the lab that this company uses, so I ask you experts, what are the chances that I pass if they took hair from my legs? I know body hair has a greater time table opposed to head hair. Also, this was a infrequent use so I don't know if any will be picked up in the hair drug testing. I do know that it has been quite some time since then but I just wanted to know your opinions. Please advise.

The sample they get usually only goes back about 90 days. So what you did in may and before will probably not show up. Second the tests look for habitual use, occasional use might give a number but it won't be enough to cause a fail. It would be like blowing a 0.001 on a drug test after using hand sanitizer. It is there but not in the amounts that would cause any negative repercussions.

You don't have anything to worry about it and I am happy to hear about your decision to turn over a new leaf and walk away from those types of drugs.

Thanks! I am staying away from all drugs now. Also, they took the hair from my legs instead of my head. Anything to worry about with that?

No not really. It is a slower growth so it does have a bit more history, but it wouldn't be anythign to be worried about.

Thank you very much for the quick response. I can breathe a little better now as I was worried by that mistake. I appreciate your honest answers.
