10 year old daughter, non verbal, a metabolic disorder. Her parents were arguing loudly in front of her. They never do that. Then the girl got really stiff and her lips drawn back. This went on a few minutes. The father held her until the shaking stopped and the child fell asleep peacefully, actually. What should be done

The fighting around any child can cause many problems. The child needs to see their doctor for evaluation and course of action. For to complex, with too many other medical and emotional issues to attempt any suggestions online

This may be her "normal" behavior. Parents should have already seen pediatrician as diagnosis has been made. Teachers would also be aware of this behavior. If this is new and previously undiagnosed, take the child back to the pediatrician.

This sounds like a seizure. If it was, she didn't "fall asleep peacefully." That would be what is called the post dictal stage of the seizure. Her parents need to discuss this with her primary care physician.
