High arc Moen kitchen faucet. 2 handle with a side spray and face plate.

Water will not come out of the spout - only the side spray.

I have disconnected all and cleaned with lime away. The diverter is not easily accessible. It is down in the spout and so I can not use a nickel to unscrew it.

Is there a way to repair without replacing the entire faucet.

This faucet is probably less than 5 years old. I can not locate a model number but if you might suggest where it might be, I could try to locate it again.

I suggest first removing the aerator and trying the spout to make sure that the aerator is not clogged. If you get no water out the spout with the aerator removed, the diverted is probably stuck. Show us a picture and someone can probably tell you how to remove the spout so you can replace the diverter.

Hello WilmaWonka,

Follow Herold's instructions if no luck, I would suggest to call Moen at 800-289-6636 explain your problem to them they may recognize the faucet and will ask you if you are the original owner they will send you any parts that you need for free, good luck.

Moen has one of the best warranty amongst faucet manufacturers. If cleaning aerator won't help, do as John said. They will send you all you need for free.
