Hello everyone. I'm a junior in my high school and I have a big problem. Most of my classmates use to bully me everyday and I can't stand this anymore. Everyday I'm coming back at home from school I'm usually starting to cry until I don't have any tears. Last summer I was in a camp where I made a lot of friends from different towns but we get along very well and we are still good friends. I were very happy there like I couldn't be in my town just because of my classmates. I'm really depressed about this situation. I'm trying to ignore them but they don't stop spreading rumors about me. I just feel like I'm all alone and nobody can understand me.

I talk everyday with my friends from the camp and they make me feel a little better but I just miss them so much. I can't wait to see them again in the spring (we organized a meeting) and then I'll spend a great time with them at the camp in the summer. Every time I'm at school I'm just staying in my desk, listening to music and going through the photos from the camp on my phone. These photos make me smile and make me feel a little better while I'm in school but it doesn't work when I'm trying to ignore my classmates.

I don't know what I can do anymore. They use to bully me just because I'm the shy type and they don't even want to know me. The past years of high school made me really depressed and anti-social. And I can't talk with anyone about this excepting my friends from the camp. What can I do to be happy again?

Look around you and be honest, are ALL your classmates bullying you, or does it just seem like it? Usually its just a clique you have run afoul of and never notice the ones who are not in this clique.

Is this the case or not?

You need to talk to both a parent and someone adult at school. Bullying is wrong. How are they mean? Why are they mean? You have proven that you can make friends. Being shy isn't it, although sometimes being shy means that you fall apart when teased, and teens can be awful if you can't take teasing. It's like a bully's trial by fire. I wish we could teach you how to ignore it, laugh at it, and just say things like 'oh grow up.' We need some examples of bullying.
