Hey everyone, you might not remember me, but I want to thank you.

About a year ago I was posting about a certain girl that I liked(view my profile if you're curious), and a lot of you helped me out(Alty, and talinman come to mind).

Anyway, I want to thank you guys for the good advice, and for getting me to be more bold, and to be myself.

Several months ago, I decided to sit next to this girl, and engage in as much conversation as possible. I did this two weeks in a row, and then something happened.

I suppose I should have done the above as soon as I met her, it would have saved me a lot of heartache, and trouble.

Anyway, the week after I sat with her, she brought someone with her to the church... her boyfriend.

I guess that was her "subtle" way of telling me off.

Either way, I'm now much more for the wiser, and will be bold in the beginning, not in the end.

How kind of you to come back and thank those who gave some great advice. It was well taken, I assume, and now you are better off and able to handle whatever comes your way in the future. These things happen for the best, it was a test I guess and you came through in flying colours.

Thank you so much for coming back and letting us know how it's going. Often times we give advice and never hear from the poster again. It often leaves us wondering if our advice helped or not. So thank you very much for letting us know.

I hope you stick around, this is a great community, a great group of people. We always welcome new people.

Why not take a look at some questions, see if you have any advice to offer. :)
