I had sex on dec 12, but my Bf did not come(not even close)and he use condom and we just stop half way because it was my first time and I was hurting. Then after a few days my breast started to get sore but eventually stop. No other signs out of the ordinary after that, other than slight fatigue that can be cause of some other things. I was due on the 28 but did not come until dec 30. My period was bright red dots on dec 30, and on December 31 it was a bit lighter but is a lot more than what came out on December 30 but it still isn't the usual amount though I did notice that I was dehydrated so it could be that plus on December 24,25,26 I was drinking and I read somewhere that it can affect your period. Can anyone tell me there opinion on the matter? I would really appreciate it thank you

I'm in the same situation as you, although I didn't use protection and it was my first time so it hurt, and I was 2 weeks and a bit late but I am irregular, I also have experience some symptoms more than what you have though, people say can't be pregnant if you are on your period but research says different. And my period is not the same as normal as it was heavy but lighter than normal and the past 2 days have been rather light. I suggest taking a pregnancy test but wait a couple of days after you finish your period. Use first morning urine as I did it wrong but it still came up negative, I am going to take another one in a couple of days. But you might be pregnant you might not be, to hard to tell the only way you will no is taking a pregancy test.

You're most likely not pregnant, especially if the condom was used correctly... meaning there was no penetration at all prior to the condom being used or after it was removed. Give it a few more days and see if the bleeding becomes more like a normal period for you. The excitement/stress of the holidays may have been enough to through your cycle off a bit for December. If it still seems off from your norm, you could try a pregnancy test, or wait and see what happens when you would expect your period for this month.

Today January 1 I only got a little bleeding that was found when I wipe. Other than that there was none but ts still early in the morning here so its early to say.

You could always try a pregnancy test... making sure to follow the directions carefully. Otherwise, wait and see what happens when you would expect your next period. It may just be an off cycle.

I guess we play the waiting game now. I will wait till my next month period before I test because if it doesn't come next month then that's saying a lot.

So its been 23 days since we did it and about 4 days since my last light period drop. I haven't test yet since I am too nervous to do so. But I have been researching and since I still have no other symptoms, isn't it possible that I just have a low estrogen level? Because I notice that I am a bit dry below and I have been exercising a lot prior to my due date. Not to mention that I play tennis and actually very skinny because of it, plus my food intake are actually very low because I don't want to get any extra body fat. So is it possible that's the cause of my light period?

Hormone changes can alter your cycle. Pregnancy is only one possible cause for a missed or off period. See what happens when you would normally expect your next period.
