Red and white wire from wall, new thermostat has 2 black wires from the back of it. It is a Honeywell model r 430 and it is a sealed unit.

From what I find, Honeywell R430 is not a thermostat but a part of a system integrator for building control. Thermostats have terminals on them, not wires.

Google Honeywell R430 and you will see.

The model # is RLV4305A it was a typo. There are 2 black wires coming out the back of it.
