Hi, I am 7 weeks pregnant and I have gained 10 pounds weight since my LMP. I am 38 years in age and this is my first pregnancy. Just wanted to check if this is normal?

In the first trimester you would often gain only 1 to 5 pounds. At 7 weeks, there is often almost no noticeable weight gain.

10 pounds is a significant gain so early in pregnancy. Do you have any health issues that may cause a rapid increase in weight?

I have no health issues and I have been eating properly since my pregnancy and my weight is around 54kgs. I am worried as I have heard that people don't like eating in their first trimester.

54kg (118 lbs) is nothing to worry about.
You may have heard that people don't like to eat in the first trimester, but that varies from person to person. It does not hold true for everyone. As long as you eat healthy, get proper rest, and avoid toxins such as alcohol and tobacco you should be fine. Without any preexisting health issues your weight gain will reach a plateau.
