Well hello 👋 ! I'm here looking for answers. I have had many home pregnancy test about 13 in 3months and all negative and 2 blood test and they are negative as well.
Story..
I had light brown discharge around the time if my period in October for 3 days and in November no period and now here it is December and still no period . I told my new doctor this has happened to me before when I was pregnant with my daughter . I had blood test and home test come back negative and they said I wasn't pregnant so I went looking for a little clinic where they do ultrasounds and if you believe you are pregnant and I was 5months already and didn't know it. I told my doctor about this like I said before and he said he couldn't do an ultrasound unless it came back positive and I asked him well what if it is a cyst (highly doubt it) and he says I have to see another dr for that. I've seen 3 different doctors so far and none will do a ultrasound . No clinic where I am now will do ultrasounds either unless the test is positive . What should I do and has anyone been through this?

Sadly there's really no advice we can give you. Many women don't get a positive result on a urine or blood test until late into their pregnancy, some never get a positive even in their ninth month.

For now I'd suggest treating yourself like you're pregnant, take prenatal vitamins, eat healthy, no drinking, no smoking. If your doctor won't do an ultrasound, find a new doctor. You can pay to have an ultrasound done (it's not cheap where I live, looking at $5000 without a doctors script), you don't have to wait for a doctors approval, at least where I live, Canada. Not sure about the rules where you are.

Is they issue they will not do it, or your insurance will not pay for it. I find it hard to believe you can not merely schedule the test and pay for it? Have you asked a local Planned Parenthood office for referral?

Ask your doctor about doing a quantitative blood test to check for an actual amount. Even slightly over the base line amount needed to determine a pregnancy will be enough for them to look into it further. Are you saying that you had an ultrasound done and someone there determined that you were about 5 months pregnant? Or that you have been looking for a place to do one because you think that you would be about 5 months pregnant? If you had the ultrasound done, did you actually see the baby on the screen? Did they not take any screening photos?

If you haven't seen a gynecologist, make an appointment. Many will be able to do an ultrasound right in office, as often much of their work would require frequent use of ultrasound. Also, if you were around 5 months pregnant, they would likely simply feel for your uterus. Normally it's about the size of your fist, but at 5 months the top would be close to your belly button.
