I have a bryant 310AAV042090 was installed in 2006. My id motor stopped working today. I called the company that installed the unit. They want to charge me $1000.00 to order this part and install it. Being that it is 21 degrees outside I feel I am being taken advantage of. The part number is mc21ze1222a. I think I could do this myself or order the part and have some help. Is this difficult to do? How much is this part? Thank you

Do not pay $1K for that repair... crazy. Let me get back to you.

OK, That furnace uses a PSC motor, not the super expensive ECM motor. It's not real difficult to change it out. You will need help putting it back in, kind of tricky.

I don't come up with anything with that part number. Are there any other numbers on the motor?

Check the brand of the inducer motor. Fasco makes many of them. They are listed on eBay and other sites too. eBay -"Bryant inducer motor" $45 up to $350.
