Hello,

I am 24 years woman.
I have 16 old sister.

Positive points :

- She's a cool minded person.
- She's good at studies.
- She doesn't have a boyfriend or crush on any boy. (I am sure about this as I am close to her).
-She's good by heart.

Negative points :

-She does what she likes, she only listens to our bro (he is 25).

-My bro and sis have a good bonding (but my bro doesn't know her negative points as he works and only spends 2 hours at home, so we always be happy in front of him.

-She doesn't share her things easily with anyone not even family members.

-She's strong but when she gets emotional she hell breaks with tears.

-She gets confused so much also with studies.

-She thinks that she is smarter than everyone, and at this point I always tell her to be down to earth.

-Whenever she gets angry, she behaves rude that I almost cry. (She says don't touch me, shouts at me, disrespects me badly and doesn't say sorry. And the very next day we talk normaly and forget what happened !
Or is it my fault that I could not treat her as should. Is it because I am too friendly with her ? Be frank and say.

Can you all advice, is this behaviour of her as she's growing up ?
She's like a kid to me. I am worried about her.

What should I do at tjis stage ?
How should I behave with her after all this!

Thanks all :)

Sounds like a normal 16 year old.

Where are the parents, at 16, most would not listen to anyone and always do what they want.

You are a sister, so you chat and talk about things, you have no real role in doing anything, unless for some reason, you are raising her

Our parents are good and they do not have any problem with any of us.
So, should I stop being too friendly with her ?
How should I take this ?

Be her sister, but don't try to be her mother. She is a teenager with hormones going crazy inside her. She might be calm one minute, and then suddenly become moody and start crying. Be patient with her. As she gets older, things will get smoother.

Accept her as the growing child she is, and I doubt she is all that much different than you were at that age. Unless you have forgotten when you were 16.
