I live with my mum and dad, at the moment there is a lot of arguments and I am getting really upset with it all. I really want to tell my head teacher at school but I am worried in case he phones my parents then they get angry with me because I told someone. I am also worried because I don't know if he will inform social services and then I get put into care. at the moment I am in high school and I am 14

Everyone argues; but no, your teacher cant put you 'in care'. Do you not have a guidance counsellor at school ? He or she would be the one to discuss this with.

Unless there is physical abuse, it is unlikely you will be put into care.
However, I think a better person to talk to might be a clergyman if your family goes to a church.

Teachers can report abuse to CPS, and CPS would investigate. However, you don't mention abuse, you mention arguing.
Have you told your parents that their arguing is upsetting you? I'd start by talking to them about it. If that gets you nowhere, then talk to your school counselor.
I'm sorry that you're going through this. Sadly parents do argue at times, some more than others. Most parents realize that it's not okay to argue in front of their kids. Do you have a relative you can talk to about this? Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, Uncle, older sibling?
