Did I violate Hippa by accidentally clicking on someone's lab results(coag labs which by the way can almost only be deciphered by an M.D.) that I have know idea who this person is. I was fired for this even after being a loyal employee, respected by both staff and especially patients. Please Help!

Did you mention this to anyone? How did they find out? (It's HIPAA.)

All electronic records come with a paper trail as to who accessed what and when they accessed it.
By accessing a patient's record when they were not your patient you did violate HIPAA.

Part of the issue, is why? And how many times in the past did it happen.
How hard or easy is it to make this mistake. Yes it is a violation, but normally not one a person is fired for, unless there is a history of this. Or information was given out.
