I dropped the remote. The back came off & the battery fell out. The red light on the remote comes on when pressed. When I bought my condo the ceiling fan (Hampton Bay) was installed. I have no idea as to when it was installed or the model #. What can I so?

The model number on the remote is usually on the back or just under the battery. Manufacturers usually use the same channels for their remote, so the manufacturer may be able to supply you with a replacement remote.
