Assalamu alaikum sir. I tried to explain my brother that worshiping graves is forbidden in Islam, but he was not in that stage to listen me. We were in a deep discussion on this and I talk louder with my mother to stop doing this type of idol worship. I would like to know whether I was right or wrong as talking louder with our mother is the biggest sin in Islam. Will u suggest me how to apologise if Iam wrong in any of my way.

Jazakallahu khaira.

It's as simple as saying sorry for raising your voice. If it from the heart it will reach the heart, and a hand picked flower may be nice a well.

Just curious by what you mean by worshiping grave. Is that the same as mourning or honoring recently dead relatives, or ancestors?

You were wrong to talk loud and hard to your mother.

A brother doing a sin, does not make it acceptable for you to sin.

Also, there is a difference between expressing honor or grief, and worship. Perhaps you misunderstand what brother is doing.
