I have a White Rogers 50A50-112 (general 90) control board. The flame will lite all across the burners (4) when the flame touches the sensor and sensor is connected the board kills the combustion blower and ignitor.
If I leave the sensor unplugged the flame will still lite and the flame will touch the ignitor and the flame will stay on until the ignitor turns over to flame sensing then turns off the flame only and the combustion blower continues to run.

I have added a ground wire for the burner, but it changed nothing.

The whole thing seems to be tied to the board its self but no codes show up and the time off is about 1 minute then restarts another heating cycle.

Ideas?

If the flame sensor is a separate probe from the ignitor, remove the sensor & clean the metal probe with a Scotch Brite pad or fine steel wool. Re-install & try the furnace again. The fact it is not throwing a code makes me think the control is bad but cleaning the probe is easy & might fix the problem.
