This machine was running great and then lost power. I found a damaged stator and replaced it. Then I checked the rotator for shorts and checked the diodes. Every thing checked good, but I get 97 volts output. This unit has no brushes or AVR. What did I miss?

What is engine RM. Does voltage increase if engine speed is increased?
