Oh I love this question, your asking it to try to get me to take responsibility for my actions right? Because you aren't trying to answer my question. So job well done you clog up this board with nonsense congrats ben.

It's a perfectly legitimate response.
As you may notice we have a number of members that ask the same question at various times and never take any personal responsibility for their actions.
I'm glad you can see my response for what it is, an attempt for your to see the error of your actions, no matter how misguided that maybe.

This type of testing regime is very difficult to judge given the scant information provided.
There are many more factors involved and even an exact repeat may well garner an opposite result within this time frame.
On applied wisdom, given ETG testing is believed to be effective up to 80 hour window, your chance doesn't look good I'm afraid.

So how's that more a more thought out response ?!

I wasn't asking you to think about a better response, I was asking you to try to not answer at all if you couldn't answer the question. I have been reading the responses given to similar questions, I was wondering for my specific situation what might the test results be, that's all.

"My experience is that few people, even after heavy drinking, are EtG positive beyond 2 days (48 hr). Please understand that my observations are experiential, naturalistic." ( Dr. Bill100, Feb, 2014)

If you look at his answer you will see that he did in fact answer your question. "What happens when you fail?" The when implies that you're going to fail and what are you going to do at that point. Get off your high horse and stow your attitude.

The answer here is simple. The test is rated for detecting heavy drinking 60-80 hours after drinking. You have maybe 52. It would be cutting it close. There are factors that we can't know and that's based off you. You're probably a heavy drinker to begin with which would hinder your elimination so a higher chance to fail. We don't know what your elimination rate is, if you produce it, if you over produce it, or any other factor. We don't know the testing facility nor your cut offs. So that's the best you will do.

So your high horse. You are prohibited from drinking. You drank. You agreed, whether it is for probation or employment, not to drink and you still drank because you thought yourself clever enough to escape the repercussions for violating your prohibition on drinking. You want sympathy? The answers you got here is the best you're going to get and I hope you fail. Give you some perspective.

Another drunk with a bad attitude... OH boy. What a tool.

You did it, at least be an adult and own up to it. Word of warning.. with that attitude... I hope you do fail, if not this one, then the next one. Maybe that's what it will take before you own up to your problem. And hopefully you do that before you hurt anyone else. Nobody really cares if a drunk that won't try to kick the habit drinks themselves to death. The problem is all too often they kill someone else first.

I too have no sympathy for someone with your arrogance that only cares about cheating the system, and won't face their real problem. Which is you are a drunk....not the next test you will be subjected to.

YOU will kill yourself eventually. At the very least you will probably do irreparable harm to your body long before you do stop, IF you don't drink yourself into the grave first. And That can happen at a very, very young age. I knew one that did it at 40. No accident involved and it wasn't even alcohol toxicity. His organs just shut down one night watching TV. But keep right on...you might succeed at doing that to yourself too.

If you have no family to mourn you...then have at it. Otherwise think about them.
