HI,
Can anyone help me on this. How possible for a GPS phone tracker to have a mistake tracking a person between Paranaque to Project 8 (40 KM) or vise versa.
Thanks

I was sitting in Kunming and my phone GPS, showed me in Beijing, over 1000 km difference.
Some days I send my location to a friend and it is 10 km or more off.
So, systems have issues,
Is it possible, yes.

Hi. I work in the seismic industry. A lot of it is dependent on GPS and we work a lot with GPS. It is all dependent how you take your GPS coordinates and how they map to the internal map in your device. The simple answer is yes, depending on your software, you could be as much as 40km out. Is it likely? Not really.
