I have a 1990 Honda Accord. The engine cranks for 4-5 seconds before it starts. The CEL will come on just before it starts (code 48) the engine will lack power on hard hard accell like a rev limiter is kicking in (harsh miss fire). The engine does dies at times warm; however, it will rest start only if you turn the key completely off for 3+ seconds then back on. All symptoms started the same day. What part do I need to replace to fix this?

. Check for any air leaks--hoses and intake manifold gasket.
. Go over the ignition system and replace spark plugs (NGK only), if they have not been changed in 3 years; Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil, if they have not been changed in 125,000 miles or 10 years; and distributor cap, rotor, and wires, if they have not been changed in 60,000 miles.
. Clear code by removing the negative battery cable for 10 seconds.
