I found a match on Tinder app. the other day. I messaged her and she messaged me back. We seemed to have a lot in common. The next day I was going to message her again and found her profile and our conversation were gone. I can accept the possibility that she deleted her profile because she met someone else. But there's also the possibility that there was a glitch in the Tinder app. (or server).Anyway, I recognized her picture because she's a belly dancer at a local Moroccan restaurant. And I found her profile on Facebook. My question is should I take a chance and send her a message on Facebook? I don't want to miss the chance at meeting someone because of the possibility the Tinder app (or the server) deleted our conversation. Thanks!

One way to find out is try another text.

I would proceed with caution if you do contact her.

She may have met someone or someone may have set up a fake profile using her picture/information. If it was her and she deleted the profile for personal reasons or it was a glitch, she could find it creepy and unsettling if you contact her on Fb.

Talaniman, I met her on a dating app. on my iPhone. It's call Tinder. With our brief conversation we have a lot in common. I recently read that the Tinder app. has been having some server issues. It's frustrating to know that our messages may have been dropped because of this.
I recognized her picture because a couple of years ago I was at a local restaurant where I saw her belly dancing. I found that she has her own website and FB page for belly dancing.
What would I say to her if I messaged her on FB? I'm not a stalker and I definitely don't want to creep her out.

I wouldn't contact her on Faycebook without her expressed invitation. You may have to forget contact with her for now without any more information. Site glitch or her choice doesn't matter, it's just bad luck/timing but clearly beyond your control.

Sorry.

Facebook recently made some policy changes that require profile pages to made with a person's real name. Many performers (including Belly Dancers) use stage names for their profiles and are being forced to either change their names or shut their pages down. A lot of them are moving to Ello and discarding their FB pages as a result.

This may factor in, and it may not. I just thought I'd share the info.

Best regards.
