Hi Sandy and welcome, the first thing I would check would be the igniter, use a volt/ohm meter to check continuity. Can you tell if it's getting hot?

More than likely, if it's over a year old, it is full of dirt and the safety has opened. In order to repair it you will have to totally tear it down and clean every part that moves air with soap and water. This includes the ducts that bring heated air into the drum, the blower wheel and blower wheel housing, and all other parts that move air. Make sure to mark where the wires go when you take them off. You will also need to use a multimeter to find out which safety blew out. Most of the time it will be the closest one to the burner on gas models and near the elements on electric models. Safeties are wired in series starting with the door switch. You should learn to use a meter because you will need one to diagnose all kinds of problems with appliances and lights. Good luck; it's easier than you think to repair.
